About Steve Stringer

Stringer Sites is run by Steve Stringer, an Adobe Certified Expert and a 16-year veteran of the software industry. With a unique background blending fine arts, software engineering, and business, Steve is able to tackle almost any creative software project. He utilizes tried-and true professional software development techniques to every project resulting in a well-planned, efficiently executed project every time.

After receiving his BA from Tulane University in New Orleans, Steve moved to the powdered slopes of Utah where he received his MBA from the University of Utah. While at the UofU, Steve started his career in software development by working at Unisys/Loral creating custom executive reporting systems. After graduation, Steve moved to Los Angeles to work for Activision producing video games. During a career that took him from Activision to Electronic Arts to Atari, Steve produced dozens of projects and was privileged to work with some of the finest creative talent in the gaming industry.

In 2004, Steve took his experience in project management and business development and his passion for web development to start Stringer Sites. 6 years and dozens of projects later, Stringer Sites has grown in capacity and expertise. While developing sites for select clients, Steve also is active in the web development community promoting web standards and best practices for development through his development blog, StringFoo, and through speaking engagements around the country.
